Muscle Activation Techniques

Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) views muscle tightness as one of the body's protection mechanisms. Weak or inhibited muscles create the need for other muscles compensate by to tightening up to stabilize the joints. MAT enables the practitioner to identify the root of pain or injury by addressing muscle weakness instead of muscle tightness. MAT helps to restore normal body alignment, thereby, decreasing pain and reducing the risk of injury.

Find inhibited muscle by muscle test then treat to activate each muscle to stabilize joints.
